As a lifelong nature enthusiast I’ve been photographing the great outdoors for over forty years. Now, as a Minnesota Master Naturalist, my goal is to share the amazing beauty of nature with others through my photography. I donate my photographs for environmental fundraising and volunteer to give workshops on nature photography. Nature creates its own art which I strive to see and capture. I’m especially drawn to exploring the nuances of light on my subjects. Interesting shadows, the glow of backlit subjects, mist and fog, the iridescence of feathers or the spark in an eye are some of the things that inspire me to explore nature with my camera. |
