A Look at Extrasolar Planets
Sarah Yost, CSB/SJU professor of astronomy
| Extrasolar planets - planets outside our solar system: What do we know about them? How do we know about them? Astronomers are interested in finding out if there are other Earth-like environments out there. What might that mean for our planet and our solar system? At the end of the lecture, sky permitting, join us for some naked-eye constellation-hopping to a few stars known to harbor planets. |
